pkryusuf.tech — Remote AI Coding Dashboard
A mobile-first web dashboard that drives AI coding CLIs on a VPS — and this site
My role
Full-Stack Developer
Status
Live
Overview
This site has two parts: the public CV you are reading, and a private dashboard that runs Claude Code and Codex CLI on my server. From my phone I can start a coding session on a repository, answer the agent's permission prompts with one tap, and open a pull request when the work is done.
The problem
AI coding CLIs are interactive terminal tools that keep stopping for permission prompts, so they're hard to use away from a computer.
Key features
- Real terminal sessions streamed to the browser with xterm.js
- Prompt detection that turns the agent's questions and numbered menus into tappable buttons
- One-tap pull requests: branch, commit, push and open the PR from the phone
- Usage bars parsed from the CLIs' cost and token output
- Multi-user: encrypted per-user API keys, GitHub tokens, git identity, projects and session history
- Installable PWA; public CV page with English/Turkish content and a contact form
Architecture
- Node.js + Express + socket.io server that runs CLI processes in real pseudo-terminals (node-pty)
- Next.js 16 web app; JWT in an httpOnly cookie, checked by the Next.js proxy for dashboard routes
- PostgreSQL for users, keys, projects, session history, usage snapshots and contact messages
- Each user gets an isolated home directory and repository workspace
- Two Docker services deployed with Coolify on an Ubuntu VPS
Technical challenges
- Reliably detecting prompts in a raw, ANSI-coloured terminal stream
- Keeping each user's CLI logins and API keys separate
- Making a GitHub token work for plain git clone and push, not just the GitHub CLI
